A personal introduction

I have been an `interior designer` since I was 4 years old, when I wanted to change the colour in my bedroom and my mother put a paint brush in my hand and said, `do whatever you like, as long as you do it yourself`. Since then I have personally built part of a garage (bricklaying), renovated a Wesleyan chapel, including building studding, wardrobes and a kitchen. I have hand painted tiles for the bathroom, painted and decorated the whole house myself... Yes, I am pretty practical !

Westcroft Design has been trading for 7 years and has been involved with projects designing:

• Rooms in an ancient castle in Staffordshire
• A Club House for a flying club in Lancashire
• A Warbird flying school in Cambridgeshire
• A Hunting Lodge in Cheshire
• As well as domestic projects in Flintshire, Lancashire and Cheshire

Our style is understated elegance that can span the ages and work in any setting. We are flexible, creative, practical, adaptable, amenable and innovative. As well as the creative side of interior design, we sell lighting, from inexpensive lights and LED`s to beautiful, unusual, flamboyant pieces. We design and make furniture, from easy chairs, sofas to sideboards, tables and drawers. You can choose from a wide selection of upholstery fabrics or provide your own if you wish.

We can supply gorgeous rugs, soft furnishings and paintings.

We have contacts for bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, tiling, building (both for small and large projects), electrics, plumbing, curtain or blind making, bespoke furniture makers and designers.

Charging policy

• We can offer advice on a simple consultation basis.
• We can prepare drawings and mood boards for full projects.
• We are flexible and adaptable in our approach as every project is different and has its own requirements.
• Our charges are on an hourly rate, so you can use our services as much or as little as you like.
• We itemise our bills and give a breakdown of all expenses, if this is required.
